In Hegemonia, you can play the 5 different races with very different units and unique gameplay. Here is a little overview of a mysterious race : the Solons.

Solon Overview :

We are currently searching for proof regarding the legend that the Solons used to be a highly advanced humanoid race who disappeared from the Galaxy several centuries ago. They only things that feed these rumors are a few bases hidden throughout the Universe. Some say they attempted to plunder these so-called relics, but the few who came back appeared to be completely insane and the only explanation they gave were fake indications of where they discovered true horror.
